Intact Public Entities acts as your advocate, reviewing your insurance needs to provide you with the best possible insurance protection available through our program. We provide professional insurance advice, claims support, and over all, consistently high levels of customer service.
Intact Public Entities is an underwriting agent. We have underwriting arrangements with select insurance companies to develop and provide a comprehensive insurance program to meet the needs of our clients. We underwrite complete programs.
These insurance companies pay us a commission with the expectation that we will manage our book of business the same way they would. We provide all of the services that a property and casualty insurance company would with the exception of actually holding the risk. These services include: underwriting; risk management and inspection; claims management and examination; client management; information technology and finance. In essence the insurance companies trust our expertise and knowledge to effectively manage a select book of business. Please visit each company’s website for more information.
Our commission rates per line of coverage range from 5% to mid 20% and is dependent on a number of factors including, but not limited to, the level of service provided and the size of the risk.
Contingent (Profit) Commission may be payable to Intact Public Entities by some insurers when specific growth, profitability, volume, retention and other measures have been met.
