Ontario Trails Council - Hiking Trail Guidelines

It is imperative that trail stewards inform potential trail users of what to expect on the trail, what provisions they will need and provide that information in a format that is consistent across the province. Doing so will assist the trail user in making an informed decision as to whether this trail is within their abilities to use the trail thereby improving the users trail experience.
